Meet Patrick, my husband, the mastermind behind our meticulously crafted woodworking wonders. His love for woodworking has been a constant in our lives, but the turning point came when he got a taste of laser crafting on our son’s GlowForge. The desire for his own laser lingered for years, becoming the inspiration for a memorable anniversary gift.

Stumped on what to give Patrick I (Mandy) took a leap of faith and invested in an Omtech 100watt CO2 laser, knowing that this could be a game-changer for his creative pursuits. Patrick was thrilled, disappearing into his workshop for days on end, consumed by the joy of creating with his new tool.

As we shared our creations on Facebook within our circle, it became clear that there was a genuine demand for our handcrafted items. Encouraged by the positive response, we took the next step and opened an Etsy store. To our surprise, the business gained momentum rapidly, transforming what started as a hobby into a successful side venture.

What began with Patrick’s solitary passion soon became a shared venture. Spending more time in the workshop, I discovered that I wanted to do more than just listing items on Etsy and painting/staining finished products. I discovered my own love for laser crafting as well.

Almost a year later, we find ourselves not only running a thriving Etsy store but also having a dedicated booth in a brick and mortar shop and hosting booths at festivals and markets throughout Tennessee.
